MANILA, Philippines—You really must have wanted to go to Singapore. Super received hundreds of entries from F1 fans, 78 of whom qualified for the final stage of the “Race the Route” promo with the Singapore Tourism Board.

For the next step, all qualified participants need to submit a short essay on the topic, “What makes Singapore a perfect F1 destination?” The essay must be a maximum of 100 words, so don’t write a novel!
All essay entries should be e-mailed to singaporegp@ymail.com. Your e-mail entry should be an attachment in Word format. Do not write your essay in the body of your e-mail, otherwise you’ll be disqualified! On the subject line of your e-mail, write “Super Challenge.”
The body of your e-mail should only consist of your name, complete address, and contact numbers.
Deadline for submission of entries is on Friday, Oct. 3. All entries that will be submitted after Oct. 3 will be disqualified.
E-mail entries that are not in Word format, not an attachment, and do not have the required subject line will be disqualified. Likewise, entries without a name, complete address, and contact numbers will not be valid.
The Super Challenge winning essay will be chosen using the following criteria:
Organization/clarity of thought – 20%
Key message/consistency to topi – 40%
Creativity and substance – 40%
The Super Challenge winner will be announced on Oct. 11. He/she will win two round trip tickets to Singapore and a 4D/3N hotel accommodation for two. The winning entry will be published in this section.
The grand prize is valid for travel between Nov. 1, 2008 to March 31, 2009, subject to flight and hotel availability. Prior reservations and bookings are required. Prizes are transferable but non-convertible to cash.
Five other entries will win Singapore Tourism Board gift packs. The decision of the Board of Judges, composed of representatives from the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Singapore Tourism Board and its PR agency, Stratworks, is considered final.
