MANILA, Philippines?You see a lot of Victor Basa on television. He?s an MTV VJ, he regularly hosts and performs in ?ASAP ?08? and he guests in a number of other shows.

But this 22-year-old Penshoppe endorser makes sure he has time to have fun with his friends?they skateboard, they wakeboard, they play music and they make sure this summer?s a blast.

What is your fitness regimen?

I skateboard, play soccer and more recently I?ve been wakeboarding. I recently came back from CamSur. I go to the gym sometimes. But for me it?s nicer to engage in sports and to be active because while you exercise, you also enjoy the stuff you?re doing.

What?s your personal style? What clothes do you usually wear?

I wear stuff with shades or colors that are contrasting or shades that complement each other. I play with colors a lot. I can say that I am experimental. One day I go urban streetwear; next day, classic rock with the hat and all.

What do you wear during the summer?

Light-colored clothes. I usually accessorize with caps. Right now, my favorite is my light-blue checkered shorts.

What do you like seeing on girls in the summer?

I like seeing girls in shorts, distressed skirts and tanks. I like seeing them in a trucker cap, too, and in bright summer colors and, of course, in bikinis.

What scent do you like for yourself?

Citrus scents, although at night I want woody scents.

What?s your favorite thing to do during the summer?

Kind of cliché... hanging out with friends to record music. I am recently engaged in playing the guitar. I also like going to the beach and doing a lot of water sports.

What?s your favorite summer destination?

CamSur Watersports Complex. The trailer truck rooms are so cool.

What are your summer must-haves?

Shades, iPod with speakers, my guitar, a waterproof bag and, of course, my checkered shorts.

Any unforgettable summer stories?

Last summer, when everyone else was out?on the beach or elsewhere?my friend and I went skateboarding in Makati. It was so cool because there were very few people in Makati and we were so free to skate around.
