MANILA, Philippines—Nineteen-year-old Sarah Geronimo certainly keeps herself busy. Although in the thick of preparations for her studio album and her first lead movie with John Lloyd Cruz, the bubbly singer doesn’t forget to have a little fun, like regular teens her age. When she isn’t singing, Geronimo catches up with some of her favorite TV shows and travels around the country to soak up some sun.
What’s your summer style?
I’m sort of conservative, so I prefer loose shirts, but sometimes I dress up and wear sleeveless tops and skirts. I like nice shoes and I love shopping around the world, since the chances of bumping into someone wearing the same clothes are lessened.
I like shoes, especially if they have heels and are colorful. I have a lot of sneakers, flats, and strappy sandals.
What’s your summer scent?
I like D&G Light Blue and Armani White.
What are your favorite shows?
“Heroes” and “Gossip Girl,” although they can be repetitive. For movies, my all-time favorite is “Titanic.” I love Leo DiCaprio, although I also like Johnny Depp.
What do you like in a guy?
Of course, he has to be a gentleman, respectful, God-fearing, and perfect! Kidding aside, I prefer guys with mestizo features.

I sing! Really, I do. I also like sketching when I have the chance to.
What is your summer workout?
I go swimming or stretching, and spend a couple of hours on the treadmill.
What’s your favorite summer destination?
London, for the weather, the clothes, and the royal family! I like the rain, that’s why I like London. Gloomy weather makes me sentimental—it’s my time for reminiscing and playing “emo” music.
